Shianne Spiker
Shianne Spiker is the Editor and Chief of the Tornado Times and is currently in her final year of high school. She joined the newspaper team at North her freshman year and has never looked back. While academics are her first priority, she also works at Papa Murphy’s and routinely misses school to attend pop punk concerts (she’s been to six since starting high school). Her favorite bands are Neck Deep and Twenty One Pilots, both of whom she’s seen live. She will be leaving home in the fall of 2017 to attend the University of California, Irvine to pursue a degree in psychology. When she isn’t at work or school, she enjoys reading novels, online shopping, reading conspiracy theories about aliens, and creative writing. She lives with her mother, two boxers, a Mexican walking fish, three Beta fish, and a hedgehog.
