NASA is finding more developments in the last frontier.

NASA has a plan to send a Parker Solar Probe to explore the sun’s atmosphere, and the mission will begin in the summer of 2018. But, this is not a journey for any human. NASA has an idea of sending a 10-foot probe that will get closer to the sun than any spacecrafts has before. The probe spacecraft will be stronger and more protected from the heat and radiation. The probe can officially address questions that couldn’t be answered before. One of researchers from NASA says, “This is NASA’s first mission to the sun and its outermost atmosphere called the Corona.” The probe will eventually orbit around the sun about 3.7 million miles of the sun’s surface. The probe will increase the understanding of solar wind and it will help improve forecasting of major space weather events. The objectives for the probe are to trace the flow of heat energy and the acceleration of the sun. Also, gathering observations and sources of the sun and the weather changes in space. The mission is will end in June 2025.
